The Gallery
Five walls. Everything this house believes hangs in this room — and nobody will hurry you through it.

Truth may unsettle you before it sets you free.
Every answer in this house starts here — with the thing you finally said out loud. A mirror and an open window: you are allowed to look at both.

Permission is not given. It is reclaimed.
Look at the doors in this picture. They were never locked. The path was always yours. Permission is what lets a door close without a lock — and lets the path be walked because you chose it. Love can offer more than one path and still share the same journey.

Strength is not always found in leaving. Sometimes it takes strength to choose to stay—but only when staying is truly your choice.
The oak did not outlast the storms by refusing to bend. It endured because it knew where it stood. When two people stand together in honesty, their path can outlast even the fiercest storm. So can you—when you both know where you stand.

The path will not always be straight. One bump does not make a mountain—unless you become the builder.
We choose which path to take, just as we choose whether to walk it alone. Once we take that first step, the road will not always be straight. There will be potholes, challenges, and tears. But does that make it the wrong path—or simply one that needs repair?
A path can be patched. One bump does not become a mountain unless you keep building it.

The first promise worth keeping is the one you make to yourself. How can you promise to love someone when you have never decided what love means to you?
Saying “I promise” is easy. Hearing it can feel like hope. But who is the promise really for—the person making it or the person waiting for it to be kept?
Sometimes love does not need another promise. It needs follow-through.
Which matters most to you? Are you following through?
If one of these walls said your name, the writing desk is just down the hall — Write to LeAnn. And when you’re ready to go, Grace is the last room before the door.
The column is written from the letters. If you are carrying one, leave it with LeAnn. Write to LeAnn →

One letter. One answer. One truth. Monday through Friday. — Ask LeAnn
