Ask LeAnn is a written and spoken advice column for adults. This room is for readers and writers 18 and over.

One letter, one answer, for everyone. LeAnn personally chooses one letter each day, Monday through Friday, and answers it in her own words. Nothing chooses for her. There is no private correspondence: writers are never written back, and every reader meets the answer the same way — in the column. If LeAnn cannot publish on a day the column is due, the house says so plainly: a past letter stands in, clearly marked from the archive, or the day is a stated pause — never a silent gap, and the standing day never goes dark.

Sending a letter does not guarantee an answer, and letters are not handled first-come, first-served. A letter that is cruel or written to wound may simply be declined. If a chosen letter arrived with a real name, it is published under a made-up name; your contact details are kept sealed apart from the letter itself.

You may withdraw your letter at any time before it is published — withdrawal before publication is automatic, no questions asked. After publication, a letter and its answer are part of the column’s record; removal requests are considered for safety, privacy, legal concerns, or exceptional circumstances, but removal after publication is not guaranteed.

By submitting a letter, you grant Ask LeAnn a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit, anonymize, translate, publish, reproduce, perform, archive, promote, and distribute the selected letter — in whole or in part — across the website, audio recordings, newsletters, social media, and future column formats. You keep ownership of your words; this license is what allows the column to exist.

The subscription is ten dollars a month and supports the column. The standing sample — LeAnn’s welcome, a letter, her answer, the Gallery and Grace — is open to every visitor, with or without a subscription, and it does not change. A subscription opens the Monday-to-Friday column: the new letter LeAnn chooses, the answer she writes, Grace, and the vault of past letters. It buys no private advice, no selection influence, and no access to LeAnn. If what a subscription includes ever changes, these Terms will say so first.

Payments are processed by Stripe; the seller of record is SNJ Consulting LLC, doing business as Ask LeAnn. The subscription renews automatically each month at ten dollars until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from the subscription management link on the Subscribe page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and that final period is not refunded. Card details are held by Stripe — this site never sees them.
